Kubernetes is an open-source container orchestration system for automating
software deployment, scaling, and management. It is becoming a de-facto choice
to run distributed applications on premise, on cloud, and as a hybrid solution
along with mainframes. In this session we will provide an introduction of
Kubernetes, what it means to mainframe, and help bridge the gap between
Kubernetes and the mainframe world. We will also dive into emerging trends and
technologies in the Kubernetes and mainframe ecosystem and also present case
studies of successful implementations. -- Presented by Arron La; AMBILI PALLIMAKKAL; David Helsley (Architect)
