The session extends beyond Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) that has become an
industry-pervasive resource consumption pattern. We will discuss its relevance
for application modernization by also modernizing the DevOps pattern for Linux
workloads on IBM Z and LinuxONE, leveraging either z/VM or KVM and building on
