In Linux there are many performance tools available. Most tools are common to
all Linux environments, but some are special to the mainframe. And all those
tools evolve constantly. Everyone has his own favorites and nearly every metric
can be monitored in multiple ways. In this session we will explain the tools we
use the most. These tools enable you to do capacity planning and debug more
situations on your own and provide necessary data in case you still need support
from IBM, reducing service response times. We will also talk about preparation,
because in an emergency no one has time the time to learn new tools.
