Encryption is the solid foundation of a layered cybersecurity strategy. Data set
encryption provides a simple, transparent, and consumable approach to enable
extensive encryption of data at rest through DFSMS access methods without
application changes. DFSMS continues to drive pervasive encryption use cases and
value with support for additional z/OS data set types and other enhancements to
make it easier to utilize and manage data set encryption. The speakers will also
provide best practices for planning and implementing pervasive encryption,
including some hints and tips. A must attend session for security and storage
administrators who are required to protect customer data!
