Abstract: This is part 2 of a two part introductory series that will teach you
how to identify some of the common footprints of packet loss in an IP packet
trace. This session will present a variety of trace examples using Wireshark.
Attendees can choose to follow along using Wireshark on their personal devices.
(Note: Part 1 is “Introduction to Networking Diagnostics”.) Disclaimer: This
session is not intended to demonstrate the capabilities of Wireshark. Rather, it
is to focus on what packet loss looks like in a network trace. Wireshark is
being used to facilitate a more 'hands on' approach to this session.
