A well configured sysplex provides a fault tolerant infrastructure that serves as the foundation for delivering highly available business services. In this session, we consider various failures to see how the sysplex recovers. Along the way, we'll see how your choice of HW/SW configuration impacts the ability of the sysplex to mask those failures. Regardless of experience level, the sessions will be helpful to those seeking to extend their sysplex HA skill set. In particular, we will focus on failures of systems, couple data sets, coupling facilities, STP, and XCF signal connectivity.
