WebSphere MQ queue managers and brokers are designed to be shared resources, utilised by multiple different applications. It is not uncommon for us to see users providing a brand new queue manager or broker for every new application. This session intends to answer that question once and for all, and also strives to answer the question, when DO I need a new queue manager/broker? As well as the high level question of when you need a complete new queue manager/broker it will also look into when you need the resources contained within such as queues, channels, logs and execution groups.
