Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software isn't just for developers. IBM Explorer for z/OS Aqua is FREE, and a viable option for traditional TN3270 users, too. This is one user's tale of implementing the z/OS Explorer client on a variety of platforms including Windows 10 and Linux desktops, and a Windows 10 tablet (yep - a mobile device!). Also, a detailed how-to guide for accessing z/OS and the facilities equivalent to: ISPF 3.4 (DSLIST), member lists; ISPF Edit/View/Browse, TSO Ready (=6 TSOCMD), and SDSF. All this, and access to your desktop's folder, files, and command shell.-John G. Kelley-Kelley-Dalton, Incoporated
