The key for mainframe organizations to succeed in their DevOps journey is to automate the manual processes that are hindering their ability to deliver quality software faster. The current set of manual processes span the infrastructure and business applications owned by the organization. The emergence of different tools like Zowe, Jenkins, Ansible, etc. has organizations wondering where to start their automation journey and what tool to use when and for what? This session is aimed at teasing apart the infrastructure, software install/upgrade, application test, and CI/CD pipeline aspects of automation along with the choices of tools / best practices available to take the DevOps automation to the next level.
