Technology and analytics are being used to improve processes in all areas of business and the home. Software development is no exception, and the leading driver of this revolution is DevOps. As organizations embrace DevOps and implement the best practices of continuous integration, continuous delivery, shift left etc. having an understanding of the Ops data early in the cycle would help development and test organizations do their job effectively. Similarly, having an understanding of what is being developed , tested and providing guidance on development and test considerations would help Ops teams avoid surprises in pre-prod or prod environments. Overall this helps streamline the whole process of software development, delivery and monitoring.
IBM Application Devliery Intelligence (ADI) is taking a step in that direction by adding OMEGAMON as a data provider to get Operations data and display that in a meaningful way to the developer and test teams, and at the same time give the Ops team a view of quality of development and testing. This sessions explores and demos the integation with Omegamon - data being gathered, visualized and insights being provided.-Gary Mazo-IBM Corporation; Amit Tolmare-IBM
