There is a knowledge gap between the older and the younger generation with a steep learning curve. With many of the older generation retiring and not many younger developers filling their spots, knowledge of the 3270 is not being learned fast enough and new methods of system management are needed. With this in mind Jack, a developer who is a 3270 novice, is going to talk about his is experiences with jumping into the world of mainframes and what he uses to survive with out an extensive knowledge of the 3270. This will help a new generation of main framers have an easier time existing while learning about the world of mainframe with out having to had their hand held.-Jack Acton-Velocity Software
