One of the many WebSphere-branded products was something called Compute Grid. But starting in WebSphere Application Server V8.5, its included in the package for free! We could give a session telling you all great things about Compute Grid, but we thought it might be more fun to show you what you can do with it. Then you can go home and try it out yourself. Show your management you're taking the first step in moving batch work into Java and onto the zAAPs (or zAAP on zIIP). This session will take you, step by step, through getting your first Compute Grid Java batch program running inside of WebSphere.-John Hutchinson; Mike Loos-IBM Corporation
