There is a strong need to simplify and modernize the access to Z platform to onboard junior operators quickly. Service Management Unite is intended as The Web Operational User Interface to have at a glance view on Monitoring, Automation, Scheduling and Network management resources in your environment.
In this case study, we will present the challenges that the development team had, and how we, as an early adopter of Zowe, leveraged Zowe API Mediation Layer to orchestrate services from multiple products into one integrated UI, how we exploited Zowe Web desktop to improve consumability, and how we reduced overall development effort by leveraging Zowe JES explorer and Zowe MVS Explorer. Come and learn about how this enabled us to improve productivity and more rapidly deliver the target user scenarios.
