The speaker will provide a practical introduction to the Optimized Data Layer aka Mainframe Data Services (or MDS) that is delivered as part of the IBM Open Data Analytics for z/OS product. IzODA's ODL provides a common access method for heterogeneous data sources from multiple platforms with emphasis on z/OS data sources.
