z/OS Data Set Encryption, part of IBM Z Pervasive Encryption, has been discussed since 2017 on the technical details to implement it. This session builds on presentations by people like Michael Jordan, Eysha Powers, and Ceci Lewis to discuss two projects at the business and architecture level. I will share lessons learned, success factors, and outcomes of implementing data set encryption. This is an updated session from this topic one year ago with new experiences and lessons learned with material from that session and my experiences since then. All people interested in successfully planning and implementing this solution are invited to attend.
