This presentation is an overview of Data Definition Language for IMS 14. DDL provides an optional path of providing the IMS database control blocks directly into an established IMS catalog. Here we present an introduction to the IMS 14 DDL syntax and structures needed to generate the control blocks for IMS application programs.
