The RACF security server enables a higher level of security for your z/VM system, but how does it change your system? RACF may seem like a "black box" to z/VM system programmers because it has its own terminology and set of commands that must be learned to create a secure system. In this session, the speaker will open the box by explaining RACF/VM terms, basic settings, how RACF interacts with CP, how you interact with RACF, and give you some suggestions on how to set up your system with RACF. New features in RACF for z/VM 6.3 and SSI systems are also highlighted.
