The IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator has the potential to revolutionize DB2 on z/OS. The appliance transparently makes certain queries run in a tiny fraction of the time they would have taken to run in DB2. It’s almost like magic. But of course the implementation of any sufficiently advanced technology is a little more complicated than “just plug it in”.
Come to this presentation to hear the lessons Scott Chapman learned while implementing an IDAA. While implementation is not really difficult, there are some surprising details and potential issues that you should understand before starting. You will leave this session having learned some of the IDAA lessons the easy way: without having to live through them. Fair warning though: you may very well also leave wanting to implement an IDAA!-Scott Chapman-Enterprise Performance Strategies Inc.
