Moving z/VM and Linux systems to new DASD typically takes a disruptive outage. However as your Linux on z Systems and z/VM workloads grow in importance, there is a requirement these systems remain in "Continuous Operation". Consequently it is now vital that you have a tool in your toolbox that can do this for you. This presentation will describe in detail how you can migrate Linux (SYSTEM) and z/VM (CP-owned) volumes to new storage systems, while these systems remain up and continue running without disruption.-Mehdi Fadaifard-Innovation Data Processing
