Linux on System z offers a lot of possibilities to get your system connected to a network. This presentation will give an overview of all the network devices supported by Linux on System z. Examples will show how to set up networking on your system using OSA and HiperSockets. You will learn how to configure a network device manually and how to configure a network device automatically in RedHat and Novell distributions. The presentation will end with more advanced network topics such as channel bonding.
