In this session IBM will discuss the approaches for using z/VM Live Guest Relocation (LGR) with Oracle single instance and Oracle RAC databases on Linux on System z.  The results from IBM's testing of these alternatives will be shown which will demonstrate the commitment IBM and Oracle have to providing a well tested solution for Oracle Database on Linux on System z. We will also cover the options to deploy Oracle Linux guests in a cloud environment and provide technical updates in regards to Red Hat and SUSE support with Oracle.
