Simplifying z/OS Network Monitoring for multi LPAR Environments

The speaker will show examples of how to quickly expose common Z networking issues without the need to run traces. Although z/OS Communication Server provides hundreds of metrics, it can be a challenge to know where to start looking when users report issues such as long response times. The speaker will review different techniques IBM monitoring solutions use to simplify Z network monitoring, such as health views in IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for Networks, and position when to leverage other IBM solutions such as IBM Z NetView and IBM Z Performance and Capacity Analytics.
