In this session we will look at how to "Turbo Charge" your z/OS Queue Manager, to get the best performance at the lowest cost. We will look at good and bad things that you can do with both your applications and queue managers that will either help or hinder you in getting the best out of your MQ setup. Should you use persistent messages? Should you use transactions? How big should you make your bufferpools? should you rebalance your pagesets? We will look at these and other questions as well as taking a sneaky look at some internals to give you some useful inside knowledge.
