This is the first part of a two part series looking at the IBM z16. This session
will look at the z16 system's core design and architecture. Exploring the new
Telum chip improvements in the cache design and how it works within the system
as well as changes in the memory. We will cover the layout of the I/O subsystem,
new adapters, and discuss some of the new features coming to the IBM z16 like:
Flexible capacity for Cyber Resiliency, Quantum Safe algorithms, the new AI
Inferencing Accelerator, the Security and Compliance Center, and more.
