To get value out of Big Data analysis; there will be the need to collaborate with existing environments. In this session; the terms and definitions of Big Data techniques are first explained.
Then the following questions are asked and answered: • What is the difference between SQL and NoSQL

• What is the difference between ACID and BASE paradigms?
• When and why is collaboration needed between classic Mainframe environments and Big Data environments?
• Where can I get more information?
