The modern enterprise employs disparate computing systems having diverse operating systems and applications that typically don’t interface easily. All too often, data is shipped between them using traditional transfer mechanisms such as ftp or scp. These methods, however, lack proper event notification and the timely execution of related processes. Providing that capability can seem a daunting task.
