This session will discuss many different features, functions, and controls available to defining LPARs for most the most efficient performance. Topics covered will include the impacts of different forms of capping, (initial, defined, group) and will discuss concepts such as HiperDispatch, IRD, and impact of logical CPs on capacity. Many "real world" examples will be used to highlight the concepts covered in this session. Kathy Walsh IBM Corporation
