This presentation will focus on new application related features delivered with DB2 11 for z/OS.  New application features such as Archive Transparency, Au-tonomous Transaction Management and Optimizer recommendations for Runstats will be reviewed.   These features provide new functionality that pro-vide new application development approaches as well as improvements for overall SQL optimization.  The attendee will learn about the technical details for these new features for DB2 11 for z/OS.-Randy Ebersole-IBM
