What are DB2 Profiles? Introduced in DB2 9 for z/OS and extended in DB2 10 for z/OS, Profiles provide a variety of exciting capabilities: ZPARMs at a more granular level than the subsystem, modeling production in test, and application specific behavior - all available via online changes!
Attendees will learn how to implement DB2 Profiles to exploit DB2 behavior with controls far more granular than ZPARMs. Attendees will hear from a customer about why and how they implemented DB2 Profiles to address a specific problem.-Mark Rader-IBM Corporation; William Leininger-PNC
