The speakers from z/OS Support will discuss some of the tools and techniques
commonly used to debug storage overlays. You'll learn how to define the
boundaries, the timeframe, the storage attributes, and content of an overlay.
Tools used include IPCS commands like FIND, BROWSE, VSMDATA, and SYSTRACE, as
well as SYSLOG and LOGREC. Debugging program checks (e.g. ABEND0C1, ABEND0C4),
which is covered by session Debugging Program Checks, is an essential part of
diagnosing overlays. Key 0 program checks can often times be associated with
overlays!
