The requirement of today's modern IT operations tools focus the need to identify the root-cause quickly when workloads typically cross multiple systems, databases and applications. At the same time these tools need to be easy to learn for new members of operations teams so they can be productive quickly.
The User Interfaces provided for use with OMEGAMON have been evolving to deliver functions that make problem solving easier for experts and faster for beginners.
In this session the speaker will give a deep-dive into these tools and show how they assist with issues that may impact z/OS throughput including CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, Java, Network, and Storage work.-Christopher Walker-IBM
