Nearly everyone has a smartphone a tablet or both. They have revolutionized the way people interact with computers, the internet, their bank, and each other. The IBM TouchToken app provides strong authentication for z/OS users taking advantage of fingerprint recognition on a smartphone. There are ISV apps that provide intelligent monitoring of z/OS. With z/OS web services and the current application environment all sorts of powerful applications are possible. They can simplify complex tasks, alert you to problems. They can provide real-time performance information analysis and even suggest and apply corrective action. What complex or tedious task would you like to see simplified?
