One of the benefits of the System Z software/hardware ecosystem is its commitment to backward compatibility. This is a blessing for customers, but a curse for the people responsible for documenting it. Older features and function give way to new. The older features are still part of the product, but because it has become functionally stable, the documentation is frozen in time. Can you ever completely retire some of this documentation? From a systems programmer and support perspective, what is the best way to handle the documentation lifecycle?-Saif Edu-IBM Corporation
