In this session, the speaker will describe how IBM Multi-site Workload Lifeline plays a key role in solving two major problems in the Enterprise. The first is enabling intelligent load balancing of TCP/IP workloads across two sites at unlimited distances for near continuous availability. The second role is reducing downtime for planned outages by rerouting workloads from one site to another without disruption to users.
Also discussed will be the recently announced IBM Multi-site Workload Lifeline V2.0, which now provides improved resource utilization - workload connections that can be distributed simultaneously to both sites for select workloads.-Lin Overby; Mark Figley-IBM Corporation
