As a z/OS Core Technologies developer/tester/debugger for 9 years, the presenter has had a wide range of exposure to the components of z/OS that tend to have an impact on performance. However, he did not have much exposure into performance engineering until he started as a z/OS Performance Analyst in 2017. This session would delve into his experiences and lessons learned, tackling the arena of Performance Verification Test. The focus will be teaching knowledge and techniques that ISVs and clients can apply and hopefully start a dialogue about some of their experiences as well.-Joe Gentile-IBM
