Many companies today have decided to move to an open source stack for their distributed development environment as part of their DevOps transformation, but the z/OS team is being left behind. Â If your corporate solution is GIT, come to this session to learn about the new GIT support for z/OS including EBCDIC code page support provided by Rocket and how tools such as Jenkins can be used to do the traditional z/OS build. Â In this session we will also describe how companies such as Walmart are posting z/OS services to GITHub using this support to provide an open source community for the traditional z/OS capabilities. Â
Yes, it's true GIT can work on z/OS this is not just for Linux on z, but really running on z/OS. Â Now your developers can work the same no matter what platform they are building for even if your development tools stack is open source-Rosalind Radcliffe-IBM Corporation
