The IBM Z z15 processor has exciting new capabilities including the IBM z15 Integrated Accelerator for zEDC and new CPACF cryptographic capabilities and ecncryption. The z15 Integrated Accelerator for zEDC is completely different than previous generations of zEDC capability, now providing both asynchronous and synchronous capability. This presentation will provide a deep dive on how to assess your current exploitation and also how to measure these new capabilities on the IBM z15 using a variety of SMF records.
