IBM Hardware Management Console (HMC) 2.15.0 Release Including Remote Code Load

In this session, the speaker will discuss the new features in the Hardware Management Console (HMC) 2.15.0 with focus on the 2Q2021 Release. The highlighted feature of that content is Remote Code Load which allows the ability of a remote update of z15 Firmware using only outbound initiated connections from the HMC and removes the requirement for IBM onsite personnel at the client's data center. Additional 2Q2021 content includes LDAP Group elevated user authentication and BCPii v2/HWIREST API. Other z15 GA1 features to be presented are Hardware Management Appliance, where HMC/SE reside on redundant servers inside CPC frame, usage of new HMC/SE/TKE hardware without DVD drives, Precision Time Protocol, HMC Dashboard Status Enhancements, and more.
