In this session; the speaker will discuss the new features in the Hardware Management Console (HMC) 2.13.1; available with the IBM z13 GA2 and z13s.  Features include Absolute Capping of LPAR Groups; OSA ICC Secure Socket Layer support; SNMP/BCPii API improvements; and Security Best Practices for HMC Users Monitoring of z/OS LPARs.  Reengineering of Operating System Messages and Integrated 3270 Console will eliminate those Java workstation remote browser challenges.  A significant ease of configuration for Linux Only systems has been established by the HMC's Dynamic Partition Manager.  Lastly; the new rack mounted Trusted Key Entry offering will be discussed.  Come hear what these HMC changes and additional new features mean to you.-Brian Valentine-IBM Corporation
