z/OS and RACF can now accept a Distributed Identity, and even though the 8 char RACF limitation still exists, a Distributed Identity of up to 246 chars can be passed to subsystems such as CICS and DB2 (early exploiters). They both can coexist on z/OS. Learn how RACF maps a Distributed Identity to a RACF Identity, and how the SMF audit trail now shows both identities. See how this can address the End to End accountability issue in SMF audit trails.
