Now that we have covered some of the elements of IPv6 (in the "IPv6 Basics" session), let's take a look at how to configure the mainframe and other servers to attach to an IPv6 network.
You must first assess the implications of IPv6 for your server machines, including product compliance, address provisioning and management, routing policies, security, and infrastructure design. Then analyze your architecture requirements from business, technical, and implementation perspectives. Then configure your systems. These steps lead to a detailed design and deployment methodology that fit our business needs.-Laura Knapp-AES
