Among the latest new functions in Infoprint Server are significant security and accessibility features. A new Signed Secure PDF Transform feature produces a digitally signed PDF by adding additional security and tamper detection at the time of document viewing. You can use industry-standard digital certificates with the z/OS(R) Cryptographic Services System to assure that both the visual appearance and contents of the document remain unchanged.
Automating transactional documents using the AFP to PDF transform with the Accessible PDF feature combines business rules to add the necessary tags and descriptions required to convert a PDF to an accessible PDF/UA document, allowing readers to easily move forward and backward through the document. For multilingual documents it permits speak-aloud software to use proper pronunciations appropriate to the language.
Other new Infoprint Server features will also be discussed.-Howard Turetzky-Ricoh Commercial & Industrial Printing
