Collecting measurement data on z/OS system performance requires planning and setup to gather the desired information. SMF data is a key source of measurement data for a z/OS system.   This session will discuss the SMF and RMF parameters which control how many records and how often records are written to the SMF data sets.   This is an introductory session.
