JES3 to JES2 Conversion User Experience

This session will deliver a user experience from New York Life Insurance Co. as they migrated from JES3 to JES2.
NYL had been running JES3 for over 40 years. But, to provide a more standardized environment, NYL decided to convert from JES3 to JES2 in late 2016.
The presentation will describe the planning, design, testing and implementation of JES2 in our 2 SYSPLEX environments. The presentation will look at problems incurred throughout the process and provide the steps that had to be taken to implement the changes into our environment.-Stan Nutt-New York Life Insurance Company; Chinedu Ibeh-New York Life Insurance Company
