This session covers the infrastructure and operational challenges of migrating from JES3 to JES2. Nationwide had a desire to standardize on one JES system reducing costs and complexity from an engineering; maintenance and operations perspective. In addition; we wanted to be able to engage a wider industry skill set and workforce; as JES2 has a larger install base.
This session will include the planning; conversion considerations; and operational impacts. Areas covered are making the JES3 configuration as agnostic as possible to ease in the transition to JES2; Evaluating Exits; Configuration; and Print Services.-Bruce Dennis-Nationwide Insurance; Chad Gavorcik Gavorcik-Nationwide Insurance; Mark (Tyrone) Terry-Nationwide Insurance
