Interested in writing JSR-352 Java Batch applications but aren't sure where to start? In this lab we'll use Eclipse and WebSphere Developer Tools (WDT) to create JSL and write your first batch application. We'll submit it to run in a local Liberty server and take a look at the job log it produces (look for "Hello, World!"). If you have time left we've got fancier things you can also experiment with (passing parms, coding a listener).-David Follis-IBM Corporation; Michael Stephen-IBM Corporation; Gary Picher-IBM Corporation; Don Bagwell-IBM Corporation
