Transparent cloud tiering (TCT) on the DS8000 in conjunction with DFSMShsm demonstrates the compelling synergy between IBM Storage and Z. The solution provides business efficiencies and flexibility and is designed to reduce capital and operating expenses with direct data transfer from DS8000 to an object storage platform.
