Agile has much to offer the mainframe development community. As we transition our applications to modern payloads writing in Java and C we see increasing numbers of developers wanting to make agile their development methodology. Traditional development has some fear and a little suspicion of any form of change, especially change to tried and true methodologies. The business landscape is change and demanding more and sooner and agile is ideally suited to this. So can the two paradigms coexist in enterprise development? They can. They do. This session sets forth a new Agile Manifesto for Mainframe Developers and lays out the best way to get there.-Kevin Parker-Serena Software
