DFSORT is IBM's high-performance SORT, MERGE, COPY, ANALYSIS and REPORTING product. DFSORT is in many ways much more serviceable than many other products/components due to the amount of diagnostic information that is written during the execution of a DFSORT JOB. DFSORT most recently added function to exploit the use of the IBM Integrated Accelerator for zSORT. The New Function added to DFSORT code will leverage the Sort Acceleration built into the z15 processor. In this session, the speakers will provide an overview on how to interpret new diagnostics specific to zSORT, when zSORT can and cannot be used, and the use of zBNA to identify eligible workloads and potential benefits from the use of this outstanding new function
