Native SQL procedures were introduced in IBM DB2 9 for z/OS and have since become very popular with many DB2 users. Meg and Maryela will share considerations about migrating from external SQL Procedures to native SQL procedures. DB2 10 provided additional enhancements to native SQL procedures and will be highlighted during the session. They'll also provide some answers to some operational challenges some users have experienced. Finally, they will wrap up with a sneak peek at the future of native SQL procedures.
